I am the Head of Computer Science Department at Alisra Private University.  I am in the Faculty of Science and Information Technology Building, Room 4106.  You can call me at + 962 6 4711710 ext 2499, but I respond much better to email. I earned a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Computer Science form the USA, and a Ph.D. in Health Informatics from City University , London, UK.  My Research Interests are E-Health, Information Extraction, Web/Text/Data Mining, and the Semantic Web.   And here is my Curriculum Vitae.

I was born in Amman, Jordan in January 19, 1961.  I am married and have three children, Omaima, Yumna, and Hashem.  My hobbies include Reading, Swimming, Walking, Traveling, Playing Chess, and Surfing the Internet.
